This week is Read Across America and I'm so excited to share this event that we are doing! We are partnering with Jill Igarashi-Takayama, a local teacher and Usborne Books & More representative to host a Book Party with a Purpose! My family and I love Usborne books and we can't wait for you to learn more about these books for your family. There are so many fun and interactive books that you may not know about that your kids will love. As a former social worker, I'm excited that this party will not be for me, but to donate books for Serenity Inc., Foster Care and Adoption, a foster care and adoption agency in Covina. We will learn more about the programs at Serenity during the party too.
