"Pancake Breakfast: Start Independence Day with a pancake breakfast sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 411.
- Methodist Church. (Parking is located across the street at Bonita High School) 3205 D Street La Verne CA 91750.
- $5 per person, which includes 3 pancakes and 3 sausages.
"Pre-parade Harley Ride: Two-hundred shiny motorcycles ride through the parade route carrying flags representing the United States, all 50 states, historical flags, and flags representing all branches of the military.
- The Parade Begins on the corner of 10th Street and D Street.
"4th of July Parade: The parade starts at 10:00 a.m.
- Community Grand Marshall Patti Latourelle proudly presents 'La Verne - American City.'
- The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. on the corner of 10th Street and D Street, The parade includes bands, floats, equestrian units, classic cars, decorated bicycles, wheelchairs, and much more. .
- Please note the City of La Verne limits the placement of chairs, tents, blankets, or other items to reserve areas on the parade route to only 24 hours in advance. The street closures begin at 9:15 a.m.
"Country Fair: Come out and catch the excitement as the City of La Verne celebrates Independence Day on the 4th of July with a Country Fair from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Roynon Elementary School (D and 8th Street). There will be rides, games, crafts, food, and fun for kids of all ages!
- Purchase a wristband for adult and youth rides for $10 for unlimited rides. Individual tickets for rides will be available on July 4. Pre-sale tickets for wristbands may be purchased at the City of La Verne Community Services Office from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
- Free watermelon from the Rotary Club.

"56th Annual Deep Pit Barbecue: The menu is beef and turkey, buttered bread, slaw, cold drinks or coffee, and dessert. Dinners may be boxed up to take to the July 4th Fireworks Show.

- Tickets: Adult $15; Child(6-12) $8; Children 5 years and under are free.

"Fireworks Show: 'Celebrate America' with a spectacular pyrotechnic show at Bonita High School Stadium The Answer will provide pre-firework entertainment.
- $7 Adult tickets (13 & up)
- $6 children’s tickets (ages 5 to 12)
- children 4 and under are free.
- Pre-sale tickets are discounted by $1 per ticket if bought before July 4th.
