My third week on Jenny Craig was the 1st week of March and I appreciated the weekly meal plan created for me. I can see my menu printed out for the week and I know what I'm eating the entire day from breakfast to dessert. I love that I don't have to make daily decisions on what to eat and I can learn the best portions and types of food for me. It is also great having the convenience of food that is ready to go and is easy to prepare. During this week, before the coronavirus situation worsened, my kids had football practice and I was able to bring my Cheese Ravioli and my vegetable side with me on the field. With the Jenny Craig meal plan, there's no excuse not to eat healthy and you can get a quick healthy meal without going through the drive thru line.
This week some of my favorite meals were the Blueberry Pancakes & Sausage for breakfast, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes & Fried Chicken for lunch, and Chicken Marsala for dinner. The Pancakes were delicious and I was so excited to get Fried Chicken since my daughter had chicken nuggets as a meal at the same time. There was no need to feel tempted to take a bite of her meal to finish off her portion. I also like pasta and noodles and I'm glad that there is a variety of Italian pastas on the menu. Each week, Jenny Craig has so many food options that there are not many repeat meals for the first month so you won't have the problem of getting sick of eating the same type of food. It's also great to be able to have dessert with every meal. I usually didn't eat dessert daily before starting Jenny Craig but now I get to end the day with dessert! The Ranch Snaps this week reminded me of my favorite chips. It helps to feel like you’re not missing out on any foods or sacrificing any of your favorite meals.

This week I was proud to share that I lost 1.8 lbs!* Avg. weight lost in study was 11.6 lbs./4 wks. for those who completed the program. I received promotional consideration. I improved my meal planning this week and brought my snacks when I was out of the house. I also drank a lot of water which I didn’t in previous weeks and I think that also contributed to my weight loss. This may be sharing too much personal information, but I’ve occasional had issues with constipation my whole life. Since I’ve been eating fruits and vegetables every day, I’m now going to the bathroom more regularly. Being on Jenny Craig has also motivated me to exercise more and be more active than I have been in the past. I’m glad that it’s been helping me to make healthy lifestyle changes that I know I will keep for the future.
Next week is Week 4! Hope you continue to follow me on my Jenny Craig journey this next week.
