Bubblefest XXII

Every year during Spring break, Bubblefest returns to Discovery Cube OC and it is definitely one of the most popular exhibits that is loved by children and adults alike. Year after year, it is a go-to destination for many Southern Californians. My family enjoys all that is offered and included with the purchase of Bubblefest ticket, which includes access to Bubble lab, Water Spheres, Bubble Exhibits, Mega Bubbles Courtyard, Early Learners bubble exploration for guests 5 and under. I recommend our readers to come as early as you can as the line can get long as the day and time goes by. My kids had a blast exploring the Bubble Exhibits including doing the Water Spheres several times which never gets old! Adults up to a certain weight can do this too. The Mega Bubbles Courtyard is located in a separate area near the entrance of Discovery Cube OC. Do not miss this exhibit! It is also one of my favorites where everyone can experiment and play with the bubbles.
The Mega Bubblefest Laser Show is a colorful and exciting stage show that combines music, laser and bubble artistry that is led by the world-famous bubble artist Deni Yang. The show lasts 45 minutes. This year, Melody Yang, the sister of Deni Yang for the first time joined the Discovery Cube OC guests in performing several acts. I like how this show encourages the guests to participate as well. A total of 5 boys/girls volunteered on stage during the show that we attended and each of them get a prize at the end. The show is unlike any other. Both adults and kids look like they thoroughly enjoy the show.

The Mega Bubblefest Laser Show is included in the Bubblefest ticket. You will need to select a showtime when purchasing your Bubblefest tickets. The Mega Bubblefest Laser Show runs 4 times a day: 11:00AM, 12:30PM, 2:00PM, and 3:30PM. I recommend reserving your seats as soon as possible as many of the seats are quickly sold out especially if you are planning on going for the weekend shows. This is definitely the event to go to if you are like me, a parent that is looking for a fun, educational and exciting activity for Spring Break. The entire family will have a blast!
Bubblefest tickets: (General admission and Bubblefest ticket are required for all Bubblefest activities)
- General seating: $10 per person
- Premier seating: $15 per person
Museum General Admission price is as follow:
- Adult: $17.95
- Children 3-14: $12.95
- Senior: $14.95
* Children 2 & under do not need a Bubblefest ticket, however they must sit on an adult's lap during the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show. Any child that requires his/her own seat must have a Bubblefest ticket.
