FIRST IMPRESSION
The package from Gobble arrived at my doorstep through a UPS package. The box had insulated linings with two ICE glazier packs to keep all items cool inside.
I ordered three meals and all ingredients were pre-packaged separately in 3 large bags. The meat and the shrimp were wrapped around the ICE glazier pack to keep it cold and fresh. 
The recipe cards came along with an introduction letter about Gobble. The front of the card had a final photo of the meal, along with an explanation of the dish’s flavor profile and pictures of the ingredients you’ll find in the bag.
On the back of the card, you will find the “Three Easy Steps” to create the meal along with pictures for reference.
THE TASTE TEST
The Shrimp Rondon is a shrimp stew with a mild coconut curry flavor. The meal was very simple to make because both the Rondon Sauce and the Cilantro Lime Rice was already made. I just had to cook the shrimp and mix in the rest of the ingredients which included corn, cabbage, and yams. The uncooked shrimps were super fresh and to my surprise, they were large sized shrimps. The rondon had a mild kick, therefore my kids did not have any. But, both my husband and I loved the flavor profile in this dish. It is not as heavy as an Asian Curry and you can taste all the sweet flavors that the corn and yam bring to this savory dish.
The Pan-Roasted Bistro Filet was cooked to perfection. I followed the steps in the recipe card and the filet came out juicy and flavorful. At the end of the instruction card, there was a guide of how many minutes to cook the filet to the exact doneness. The meal came with pre-cooked baked potatoes and fresh spinach. Which took practically no time to cook or reheat to plate. My kids loved this dish. There was not enough for the entire family. This classic dish was a total hit!
MY FINAL SAY
I am a mom that loves to cook and always in search for a new recipe. However, there are days that I don't have enough time to pre-plan, shop or cook the meals. So, Gobble truly saved me time out of my busy schedule. I cooked the meal in 10 minutes and with 1 pan. That saved me about an hour of cooking and about an hour of cleaning. And I didn't have to feel guilty because the ingredients were fresh and the meal was balanced and healthy for the entire family.
