PAMPERS EASY UPS TRAINING PARTY

Transitioning into underwear is a big deal for every toddler! While the end result is rewarding, the road to get there can be full of challenges for parents and kids alike. Pampers Easy Ups new product features are designed to help make the underwear training process easier and more fun.

Last week we hosted a Pampers Easy Ups Underwear Training party to help our Macaroni Toddlers transition easier. 10 families came to this event and learned some fun ways to get their child and mine to start the potty training process.  While many of them understood the process, a few of them wanted just to run around and have fun.  But all the kids and their parents had fun throughout the whole process.

We went through some main points to remember when going through the underwear training process. Below are 4 tips from underwear training expert Dr. Tanya Altmann to help along your journey.

1) Look for cues.  If your child is ready, they will show signs of wanting to visit the restroom, wanting to use the toilet or interest of wearing an underwear.

2) Encourage the use of training pants and not diapers.  Use training pants that feel and look like an underwear.

3) Teach the 123s of Underwear Training.  When they need to go, how to get to the bathroom and how to go on the potty.

4)  Make it fun.  Always make sure that Positive Reinforcement is the key! Use rewards charts, stickers and treats to encourage them.  Do not ever discipline your child for having accidents.  That may discourage them from trying.

During the party, parents got a chance to check out the new Pampers Easy Ups:

New Pampers Easy Ups are the easiest way to underwear – they look, fit and feel like real underwear while providing the leak protection you’d expect from Pampers.  Little ones will think it’s underwear, but parents know it’s Pampers!

And kids got to play some games:
Little Macaronis at the Bye Bye Diaper Selfie Station!  Kids got a chance to take off a diaper from their favorite stuffed toy and toss them in the Diaper Toss Pail.

Our little Macaronis got a chance to play Musical Potty Chair and take home Packs of Easy Ups!
